- Why The Society of Power Engineers (I), Vadodara Chapter [SPE] established ?
- SPE, Vadodara Chapter was established on 3rd October, 1996. It is for the activities to uplift power engineer technology by making available latest development all over the world.
- What are the activities of SPE ?
- To publish & Distribute information journal, to arrange workshop / seminar, to arrange group discussion, to arrange study tour for practical knowledge etc.
- How SPE is working ?
- SPE, Vadodara Chapter is under umbrella of Central Board of Irrigation & Power [CBIP], New Delhi.
- Who can become member of SPE ?
- Any Engineer (Degree / Diploma) who has activity related to power / energy can become member of SPE. There are different Grade of membership namely Student Member, Associate Member, Member, Life Member, Fellow Member etc. For more information, please contact SPE office, Vadodara or any executive committee member.
- What is the strength of members in SPE, Vadodara Chapter ?
- As on march, 2017, total 2278 members are enrolled in the register covering all Grades. Out of which, 571 are permanent members in Grade of Life Member & above. For latest information please contact SPE office at Vadodara.
- What are the benefits on becoming SPE member ?
- One can avail the identity with SPE I-card. A member can attend monthly technical lecture and enhanced his knowledge without any fees. He/she can attend Workshop / Seminar on concessional fee basis. He/she can make use of SPE Library and even take books on day to day basis. He/she can purchase publications of CBI&P, New Delhi. One can discuss his/her problems with expert member of SPE. One can have practical knowhow by Study Tour.
- How a member can Login ?
- Member has to give User ID as 4 digit GR No. and Password as 8 digit GR No + Birth Year……. (For example… Member No. is 36 & Birth Year is 1983 then his User ID will be 0036 and his Password will be 00361983). If GR No.is not available with Member, he shall contact SPE Office OR Administrator OR fill up Feedback.
- How a member can modify his Profile details ?
- Member shall contact SPE office OR Administrator with details to be modified OR he shall fill up details in Feedback.
